Thomas Perkmann

Dr Thomas Perkmann has been Chairman of the Executive Board of the Westfalen Group since September 2018 and is responsible for the family-owned company’s day-to-day operations. Westfalen is active in the fields of technical gases, energy supply, mobility and home respiratory therapy, and is in the process of expanding its hydrogen activities in particular.

After completing his studies and doctorate, he held various positions at A.T. Kearney in Austria and Germany between 1996 and 2006. From 2006 to 2018, Perkmann was employed at Palfinger AG, where he was managing director of Palfinger Asia Pacific from 2009 to 2014. He was then responsible for Palfinger’s business in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Australia.
