Hauke Hinrichs

Hauke Hinrichs joined SMATRICS as technical manager in 2017, was appointed co-managing director in 2019, and has been the sole managing director of the e-mobility service provider since 2021.

Since autumn of 2020, he has also been co-managing director of SMATRICS EnBW, the investor of Austria’s largest HPC charging network. Hinrichs studied industrial engineering with a focus on electrical energy technology at RWTH Aachen University and conducted research on energy policy at Imperial College London. Prior to joining SMATRICS, the passionate e-mobility enthusiast was technical manager at municipal utility start-up smartlab in Aachen for four years.
