Carsten Wagner

Carsten Wagner started his career as an economics journalist. He moved to Berlin for his role as a spokesperson in the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Security. Other positions he has held include the federal association of Germany’s public banks and the Association of Municipal Enterprises (VKU). As managing director at VKU, he set up the Communication and Public Affairs department. Since 2019, he has been fully focused on ZfK’s transformation as a leading provider of energy and municipal services. In 2025, the media service “Kress” named him on the list of the 77 most important publishing executives.
