Anna-Katharina Hornidge

Director of the German Institute of Development and Sustainability and professor at the University of Bonn

Prof Dr Anna-Katharina Hornidge is director of the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS), formerly the German Institute for Development Policy (DIE), and professor of Global Sustainable Development at the University of Bonn. In her research, she works on science for development and natural resource governance in agriculture and fishing in Asia and Africa. She advises the federal government and works at EU and UN level, including as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board on Global Environmental Change (WBGU), co-chair of SDSN Germany, and a member of the Executive Board of the German UNESCO Commission .
