Adithya Bhashyam

Adithya is a senior hydrogen analyst at BloombergNEF and is involved in the global development of clean hydrogen and ammonia. Adithya holds a Master of Science in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in Ecological and Environmental Sciences with Management from the University of Edinburgh.

Although hydrogen has great potential, the European hydrogen market is developing much more slowly than anticipated and the momentum behind decarbonisation is waning. In my presentation, I will look at where regulatory measures obstruct the market, how Europe can strike a balance between domestic generation and imports, and what is needed to meet future demand.”
