Achim Kaspar

Achim Kaspar has been a member of the Executive Board of VERBUND AG since 2019 and, as COO, is responsible for Hydropower Generation, Digitalisation and Occupational Safety.

He studied business administration in Graz and started his career in the nineties at Verbund-Telekom as a founding member of tele.ring. He was then managing director of MCI/WorldCom Austria GmbH. From 2002 to 2007, Achim Kaspar was the sole member of the Executive Board of eTel Austria AG and was also responsible for the strategic and technical competence centre of the eTel Group for Central Europe while in this role. In 2007 and 2008, Achim Kaspar headed the integration of eTel Austria AG as part of the acquisition by Telekom Austria AG and also worked on strategic restructuring projects there.

Kaspar is the editor of several books and was president of the Austrian Association of Alternative Telecommunications Providers (VAT) from 2004 to 2006.
